Hunter Valley's benchmark Chardonnay, made entirely from old estate vines on the Short Flat Vineyard. Stonefruit and cream lead on the nose, lifted by a whisper of ginger spice from careful oak handling, before grapefruit citrus and a lingering fruit sweetness carry through the palate. Textural and savoury, it holds a fine seam of acidity that keeps the finish long and clean. A natural match for a whole roasted fish or roast chicken with lemon.
