Taittinger's flagship non-vintage cuvee leans unusually heavily on Chardonnay, drawn from the house's own Champagne vineyards alongside more than 35 other crus. Pale straw in the glass, it shows fine, abundant bubbles and a delicate mousse, with flinty minerality, orchard fruit and brioche on the nose. The palate is fresh, elegant and beautifully balanced, with honeyed depth and real finesse. A refined, classically styled Champagne suited to celebration or a considered aperitif.
