A pretty, high-altitude pinot from the cool Orange region, opening with cherry blossom and rose petal before strawberry and cranberry take hold. The palate is fine-boned and bright, with a savoury edge of rhubarb running through soft, well-integrated tannins. Elegant rather than powerful, it finishes fresh and lifted. Lovely with duck breast, mushroom risotto, or simply poured on its own before dinner.
