Made by Peter Graham - a fourteen-year veteran of nearby Giaconda - from ten acres of low-yielding, hand-tended vines on a granite ridge above Beechworth. Pink grapefruit, white peach, hazelnut and spice lead the nose, with light floral notes adding lift. The palate is bright and citrus-driven, a juicy tang of stone fruit meeting a fine, chalky texture, closing on a long, clean twist of lemon peel. A serious, site-expressive cool-climate Chardonnay for slow-roasted chicken or simply grilled fish.
