Paolo De Marchi's Tuscan Chardonnay is barrel-fermented in the Burgundian idiom, showing light greenish-gold colour and spicy, buttery perfume. The palate balances ripe orchard fruit and a fresh-baked bread-crust richness against oak-derived spice, with nectarine and poached pear layered through a long, faintly citrus finish. Full-bodied but never heavy, it carries real freshness for a warm-climate white. Excellent with roast pork, aged Parmesan or a rich seafood pasta.
