Iggy's Adelaide Hills Syrah comes from cool, elevated sites and is made in the winery's signature style: spontaneous fermentation, partial whole bunches and gentle handling that favour clarity over power. Expect dark cherry, plum and blue fruit aromas with fine spice, a savoury edge of crushed stone and dried herb, and soft, well-integrated oak. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins and a fresh, savoury finish rather than the richness of warmer-climate shiraz. A cool-climate Syrah built for the table: try it with duck, mushroom dishes or a simply grilled lamb cutlet.
