Handcrafted in small batches from 100% Blue Weber agave and aged a minimum of 24 months in ex-bourbon American white oak, Don Julio 1942 is a benchmark sipping tequila. The nose leads with rich caramel and chocolate, giving way to a palate of warm oak, vanilla and roasted agave. It finishes long, with lingering oak and rich vanilla sweetness. Named in tribute to the year Don Julio González began distilling, it is made to be savoured neat or over a single large cube rather than mixed. A quietly indulgent añejo built for slow, unhurried drinking.
