Charles Heidsieck's prestige cuvée: 100% Chardonnay from five of the Côte des Blancs' finest villages - Vertus, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Avize and Cramant - aged close to a decade on lees in the house's UNESCO-listed chalk cellars. Crystal-clear with a fine, precise bead, it unfolds in stages - initial mineral and saline freshness, then citrus and kiwi, finally brioche, pastry and dried apricot.
