Australia's smokiest single malt, built from barley smoked over native stringybark, matured in smoked oak casks and cut with smoked water. The nose carries artisan smoked bacon, campfire char and golden syrup-drizzled damper, with roasted macadamia and barbecued lemon beneath. The palate opens with honeyed sweetness and baked citrus before dry, wood-scented smoke, jasmine and cured meat take hold. It finishes long, on lingering charred wood. Best taken neat or with a single large cube to let the smoke unfold, though it holds its own in a smoky Old Fashioned.
